Shipment & Delivery Policy
T-SHIRT CATEGORY — STANDARD DELIVERY FRAMEWORK
Reading Time: 5 min read
1. Policy Overview
This Shipment & Delivery Policy governs the end-to-end logistics process for all T-shirt orders processed under our label. It establishes the standard delivery timeline, the mandatory pre-dispatch inspection routing through our central Inspection Centre in Nagpur, Maharashtra, and the quality assurance obligations that must be fulfilled before any package is released to the end customer.
This policy must be read in conjunction with the Garment Quality Verification Policy (Document No. QVP-TSH-001), which defines the 3-Step Inspection System that all units are subject to prior to customer dispatch.
2. Scope & Applicability
This policy applies to:
- All T-shirt orders fulfilled under our label, regardless of order size or channel.
- All logistics and warehouse personnel involved in packing, routing, and dispatch.
- The Quality Control team operating at the Nagpur Inspection Centre.
- The Customer Success team responsible for communicating delivery timelines to customers.
3. Standard Delivery Timeline
Customers will receive their T-shirt orders within 7 to 8 business days from the date the order is confirmed and payment is successfully processed.
Timeline
| Phase | Activity | Indicative Timeframe |
|---|---|---|
| Phase 1 | Order processing, print production & packing | Day 1 – Day 2 |
| Phase 2 | Dispatch to Nagpur Inspection Centre | Day 2 – Day 3 |
| Phase 3 | 3-Step Quality Inspection at Nagpur Centre | Day 3 – Day 5 |
| Phase 4 | Final dispatch to customer delivery address | Day 5 – Day 6 |
| Phase 5 | Last-mile delivery to customer | Day 6 – Day 8 |
Notice
Note: 'Business days' are defined as Monday through Saturday, excluding public holidays. The delivery clock starts from the date of order confirmation, not the date of payment initiation.
4. Mandatory Routing Through Nagpur Inspection Centre
Following production and initial packing, all dispatched packages — without exception — must first be routed to the Inspection Centre located in Nagpur, Maharashtra, before any onward delivery to the end customer.
4.1 Inspection Centre Details
| Centre Name | Central Quality Inspection Centre |
| Location | Nagpur, Maharashtra |
| Purpose | Pre-customer quality gate for all T-shirt batches |
| Governed By | Garment Quality Verification Policy — Document No. QVP-TSH-001 |
4.2 Routing Requirement
No package may be forwarded directly from the production or warehousing facility to a customer delivery address. The Nagpur Inspection Centre serves as the mandatory quality gate through which every consignment must pass.
Logistics teams must ensure that all shipment manifests correctly list the Nagpur Inspection Centre as the first destination. Any consignment found to have bypassed this routing will be recalled and treated as non-compliant.
5. Quality Inspection at Nagpur Centre (QVP-TSH-001)
Upon arrival at the Nagpur Inspection Centre, each batch is subject to the mandatory 3-Step Quality Inspection as defined in the Garment Quality Verification Policy (Document No. QVP-TSH-001). No batch may leave the Inspection Centre until all three steps have been completed and a PASS verdict has been recorded.
1
Print Integrity Check
Visual and tactile verification that the design matches the approved digital proof exactly, with correct placement, colour accuracy, edge sharpness, full ink coverage, no cracking or peeling, and no back-side bleed.
2
Fit & Size Accuracy Check
Physical measurement of key garment dimensions (chest width, body length, shoulder width, sleeve length, sleeve opening, and neck opening) against the Master Size Specification Sheet, within defined tolerances. Seam alignment, hem straightness, and stitching integrity are also verified.
3
Fabric Quality & Wash Test
Verification of 100% ring-spun combed cotton construction at a certified 300 GSM weight, including a wash test (minimum 3 cycles at 40°C) on one unit per batch of 100 to confirm print adhesion, colour retention, dimensional stability, shape retention, and stitching integrity post-wash.

❌ REJECTED — HOLD

6. Post-Inspection Dispatch
Once a batch has received a full PASS verdict from the Nagpur Inspection Centre, it is cleared for onward dispatch to the end customer's delivery address via our designated last-mile logistics partner.
- Cleared batches must be dispatched from the Nagpur Centre within 24 hours of the PASS verdict being recorded.
- Shipping labels and tracking information are generated at the Nagpur Centre upon dispatch clearance.
- The customer will receive an automated dispatch notification with a tracking number once the package leaves the Inspection Centre.
7. Delays, Failed Inspections & Customer Communication
In the event that a batch fails inspection and the resulting remediation or rework causes the delivery timeline to exceed 8 business days, the following steps must be taken:
- The Customer Success team must be notified within 4 hours of the rejection verdict.
- The customer must be proactively informed of the delay, the reason (quality assurance), and a revised estimated delivery date.
- If the defect cannot be remediated within a reasonable timeframe, the customer must be offered a replacement or refund in accordance with the Returns & Refunds Policy.
In the event of logistics delays (courier issues, force majeure, public holidays), the Customer Success team must communicate updates to the affected customer within 24 hours of becoming aware of the delay.
